Introduction to Mindfulness Course
Tracy runs regular Introduction to Mindfulness courses in Edinburgh over six consecutive Thursdays, typically from 18:30 through to 20:00 and is priced at £149 for each delegate. If there is no course scheduled, please get in touch.
Over the six weeks, the courses cover
What mindfulness is and what it is not; introduction to mindfulness based stress reduction
Emotions, the three affect regulation systems, and an introduction to emotional intelligence
Relationship between cognition, emotions and behaviour
Living an intentional life
Compassion and effect on health and well being
Hard wiring happiness and mind sets
If you are in the midst of a major transition such as grieving the loss of loved one, divorce, or have an active mental health concern (ie anxiety, depression, early medication/substance withdrawal etc) please let me know, as I would like to be sure this is the right time for you to take this course.
The Mindfulness Courses take place at Suite 406, 83 Princes Street, Edinburgh, EH2 2ER. We will be meeting out of business hours appointments, the main entrance will be locked, I will meet you at the front door from 18:15-18:30 and welcome you in.
Metered on-street parking is available on George Street, a short walk from the office (for extended parking please refer to Castle Terrace, EH1 2EW). There are many convenient public transport options to get to the venue. Edinburgh bus station is located to the East of the square, also, Waverley train station is a 5 minute walk with Haymarket train station a little further at 20 minutes walk.
